Fire Suppress™ allows water to penetrate rapidly into the matted or dense material suppressing the fire while at the same time covering the material with foam. The foam blankets the combustible substrate to prevent oxygen from supporting combustion. As the
bubbles collapse they release their water and become vaporized, providing a cooling, action that slows down the rate of combustion. The water released from the foam contains wetting agents which facilitates penetration into the substrate and increase the rate of extinguishment.
"I have had the opportunity to use the Enviro Fire Suppress on several training drills. I was impressed that the product actually does what they said it would do. During a flammable liquid exercise the Enviro Fire Suppress mixed well with water and covered the service area quickly suppressing the fire fast saving time and water. I have been so impressed with the Fire Suppress that I put it into all of our water extinguishers on the rigs. I encourage everyone in the fire service to try Enviro Fire Suppress and see for themselves the differences between Enviro Fire Suppress and other foam products."
-Jerry Kelso, Boulder City Fire Department, Boulder City, NV
"I am extremely pleased and amazed of how well your fire product, Enviro Fire Suppress, works. A cotton fire is one of the hardest fires to contain. I have used the fire suppressant many times. It is foam that will smother the flames and penetrate into the cotton module. By doing this, the fire does not spread to the surrounding modules. It will also do the same thing in grass fires where there is a lot of undergrowth. A neighboring fire department in Hale Center is also using Enviro Fire Suppress. When a new asphalt distributor truck was driving thirty miles, a low rear tire caught on fire. Upon arriving at the scene, the fire from the two rear tires had burned the diesel fuel line. Diesel fuel was running out, and this was fueling the fire. The aluminum skin had melted. The fireman hit the fire with the foam. Using two small booster trucks each containing four hundred gallons of water, the fire was knocked down and contained within ten minutes. I would highly recommend the environmentally safe product for all types of fires. I know it saves time and water. I think all fire department need to have Enviro Fire Suppress at their disposal.
